Marlo Di Crasto is an Italian-American actress, singer and dancer.
Marlo, a dual US and Italian citizen, was raised in Upstate NY and is the grandchild of four Southern Italian immigrants born in Gaeta (Lazio), Foggia (Puglia), Naples (Campania) and Realmonte (Sicilia). She is a native American English speaker and is fluent in both Italian and Spanish. Marlo’s paternal grandparents were cheesemakers and she grew up in the family’s Italian food and cheese store where she could be found singing and tap dancing in the back room in front of a pizza oven (taller than her) and next to a commercial grade mozzarella cheese grater big enough for her to sit in. On Marlo’s maternal side, you can find a legacy of entertainers, on Hollywood screen and stage.
Naturally, Marlo started singing and dancing before she could walk and was working professionally on stage by the age of 12. As an adult she lived in NYC where she studied, auditioned and worked for theatrical productions worldwide – leading with her first love; singing and dancing. Later, she moved to Los Angeles to study acting with some of the best on-screen teachers and mentors. She has worked professionally on the big and small screens for the last 10 years. Today she continues her love for performing in the arts as a working actress in film and television in Rome, Italy and New York, NY – and recently created, produced, staged and starred in a live concert at the historic Teatro Arciliuto in the historic center of Rome, dedicated to legendary Hollywood actress and singer, Julie London.
